beautiful old building, very hospitable meeting
You will pay much more for history and the buildung reconstraction than for service and comfort especially if you need anything in early morning (till 8 a.m.).This is very self-service hotel. We felt ourselves uncomfortable to wake up the owners to call our taxi but it was the one possibility to do it-hotel reception in reality doesnt exist.

We loved the hotel's Victorian-style and antique furnitures, which added character to the property. The lush gardens surrounding the hotel provided an incredible tranquil view through our windows. The breakfast was satisfying with homemade granola and a selection of breads. We must mention the staff was incredibly hospitable and accommodating throughout our stay.
Couldn't stay longer.

Owner was lovely and the building somewhat dated, but improved by renovation. Had nice appointments and attracted the right sort of customers.
We were located on the top floor and had to lug all our stuff up 2 flights of stairs.

We enjoyed the Christmas spirit in this historic hotel. The decorations in the house were charming and cozy, making us feel like we were in a Victorian winter wonderland. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of food. Additionally, the location was great, with easy access to the city centre and its attractions.
The room was disappointing. The decor was outdated, and the bed was uncomfortable. The room was also quite small, making it hard to move around. The bathroom had poor lighting and outdated fixtures. It was disappointing to have such a negative experience with the room, given the positive aspects of the hotel.

Staff are generally helpful and accommodating, even providing local recommendations to guests.
Getting to the rooms can be difficult for those with mobility issues due to the lack of an elevator.

Staying at this hotel was a truly luxurious experience. the exclusive amenities surpassed our expectations. the room was equipped with private facilities and there was an outdoor dining area that provided a stunning view. the staff went above and beyond with their service, making sure all of our needs were met. the location advantages were remarkable, with everything we wanted to see within walking distance.
The only minor issue we had was the lack of a small fridge in the room. this did not affect our overall experience at the hotel.

Stayed here during Easter and had a great experience. the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the location was perfect, just a short walk from town and the river. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided and the comfortable beds.
Although we had a good stay overall, there were a few areas that could have been improved. For example, the room seemed a little dated, the wifi didn't work well, and there was a slight smell of mildew.
